JOURNAL INFORMATION
A character log, as seen in many other role play forums, are a single thread dedicated to all the characters one person owns. These Character Journals, however, are not like that. A Character journal is a thread dedicated to one character and is used just like you would use a Real life journal. In that thread, you post as your character and post things such as their thoughts, memories, and opinions.
The Character Journals are just like a real life journal. They are intended to reflect the thoughts, feelings, and interpretations from your character's perspective. Like any diary, log, or journal, you can treat it like an emotional outlet for your characters. Like a journal in real life, your journal has "Pages" or "Entries". Each time you update, please make a new post which signifies your newest journal entry. This will make it easier for others to read.
RULES AND GUIDELINES
01.
[/blockquote]
Your Journal must be titled accordingly. It must include your characters name and must not be offensive, rude, or off topic. It should pertain to what you wish to include in your journal. Please try to keep titles relatively short. Example of good titles are: "A day in the Life of Tamaki", "Tamaki's Journal", "Tamaki's Diary".
02.
Content should be written in the first person, e.g. "I went", "I think", etc.
03.
Content should be no more offensive than standard roleplay on this forum. Please try to keep everything PG-13, and keep to the general rules of the forum.
04.
Though you can express yoru character's hatred towards another character, please do not be excessively rude or offensive. You can describe why your character isn't fond of the other, but do go into great lengths to belittle, disrupt, or discriminate against them. Show respect for other people.
05.
Do not respond (post) in someone else's journals. Their thread is theirs only and not for others to post in. If you do not agree with the content, then contact a moderator or myself.
06.
Do not critisize other people's journals in your own journal thread. The content of other people's journals should not be mentioned, refered to, or complained about in your journal. In accordance with this, you character cannot show knowledge anywhere of something within another character's journal.
07.
One thread per character. Please create a new thread for each of your character (if you wish). You do NOT have to have a journal for every character if you do not want.
08.
Do not feel obligated to have journals! You do not have to have a Character Journal if you do not want to. These are for the people who have extra time and want something else to do while waiting for other characters to post.
HELPFUL INFORMATION

- Take a look at other people's Character journals to get ideas on what to include.
- Link to your Journal in your signature so anyone can view it whenever they feel the desire. This means your journal wont get lost amongst other threads.
- Use the journals to document feelings, poems, people in their life, others of value, current status, health, beliefs, or thoughts/opinions of people you role play with from your character's point of view.
- Journals are also a great place to include stories from your character's past.
