Preferred House and why:
Slytherin, because Avery has always been a cunning and sly girl. She's not horrible, but she's mean enough to scare people. She's a pompous girl who gets what she wants. She hates to admit it, but she thinks she's perfect in all ways and loves to brag about herself and her money. She will not associate with muggles. Muggle-borns are okay.
SAMPLE ROLEPLAY
Avery sighed as she placed her head in her hands, though it felt good being back at her beloved Manor her head was aching like it had never done before. School had started yet again which meant thinking of pranks to do, thinking of pranks was rather hard when one did not feel at ease. She was a bit troubled, she held suspicions. Though what suspicions she would never let roll of her tongue or escape her lips. It was her burden to bear, not that of any other. Rubbing her temples, trying to come up with a good prank that the other students might like as their first prank of the year. Instantly she wrote down one idea on a roll of parchment placed upon the desk before her. Curious eyes read over the subject she had written down one last time. It seemed a subject alright enough.
A fragile, small hand placed her quill back upon the desk, leaving a drop of ink onto the wooden desk colored a dark brown. She hated this, the feeling of being without muse. Avery had been sitting here for ages now, hours, days, centuries yet she had only been able to come up with one subject for a good first of the year prank, and it was the lamest one ever. Oh, she most certainly hated this. Returning to her thinking of subjects to teach Avery got lost in her own tracks, not sure if she had looked into certain aspects for these observers yet. They were anything but stupid, the people who watched her prank came to see a show, but... she would not be able to bare herself it she should give them the lamest one ever that she had come up with. She was supposed to be a brilliant witch, not a dumb one.
Subconsciously her small hand found its way to the necklace dangling around her neck, picking it up to toy around with the small diamond. It was small yet elegant, a family necklace she had been given by her Grandmother and one she always wore, no matter what. She absolutely adored the small diamond, so sharp, so lovely, so stunning and not in the slightest bit did it gave a hint of being extravagant. Yes, it was her treasure. And a toy she played with when she was lost in thought, not knowing what she was doing or extremely bored. Her left foot started tapping against the cold floor slightly. She would think of a better prank tomorrow…right now she knew of a certain cousin who needed to have a beating in the backyard.
