Gender: Female
Orientation: Straight
Wand: 12 1/4 inches, birch, swishy, dragon heart-string, good for transfiguration.
Blood: Half-Blood
Celebrity Claim: N/A
What are you?: A Turnip!
APPEARANCE
Hair: Shoulder length and layered. She recently had it cut from a long braid so is finding the shorter length annoying- she has to keep fiddling with it. Chestnut brown in colour- a few lighter streaks from the sun.
Eyes: Icy blue, and slightly turned up at the edges as if she were about to smile.
Body: She's quite tall for her age and slim and lean. She plays a lot of sports and enjoys physical activities so is strong and fit.
Usual Clothing: When not in Hogwarts robes she usually wears jeans, a t-shirt or vest top, and the outer jacket of the robes worn by her favourite Quidditch team, the Viennan Vixens.
Distinguishing Features (if any): Um... no not really.
HISTORY
Mother: Jessica Falconer (37). Jessica is the muggle who contributes to Alex's half-blood. She's a kind woman who has fitted into the magical community with grace and elegance, but is also the best mum Alex could hope for, even if they do argue a lot.
Father: Zac Falconer (39). Zac is a retired international star on the Quidditch pitch and has played for both England and America in the Quidditch World Cup. He led the English team to victory some years ago as their Seeker. He's still extremely famous and Alex has had to survive the press and media from a young age.
Siblings: None.
Short Biography: Alex was the first child of Zac and Jessica but due to complications with the pregnancy they are unable to have any more children. Alex herself had to be in the hospital and looked after for several weeks before she was stable enough to go home. This first experience was not the last when it came to Alex and danger. Since she was young she was always scrambling about, and playing Quidditch in the several acres of land her family own behind their large estate home. She found out about the magical world when she was seven and found some old magazines depicting her father as a Quidditch hero. She now plays Chaser for the school team and is extremely good. Media and Press are looking to her for going into professional Quidditch, but she doesn't know what she wants to do once leaving school yet. Due to Sarah Potter's famous heritage the two quickly became friends, facing the autograph requests and venimous jeers side by side. Since, they have both gotten into scrapes and detentions throughout the year, though some how Alex has managed to gain the Head Girl position, to her astonishment, and her father's pleasure.
Personality: Alex is the opitomy of "out-going". She plays Quidditch with a vengeance and dangerousness. She's the first to jump into a hole and not know what's at the bottom, and is friendly to ever one and every thing. Save for Slytherins. Due to them bullying her within her first year, before she met Sarah, Alex has an almost irrationaly hatred towards the Slytherin House, and any small sneer or snide a Slytherin makes is returned ten fold from where Alex is standing. She's extremely defensive and loyal of her friends and is ready to start a fight as much as a friendship. But on the whole she's a nice person to most.
SCHOOL LIFE
School Year: Sixth
Subjects your character takes: Defence Against the Dark Arts, Charms, Transfiguration, Care of Magical Creatures, Herbology, Potions, Divination, and Ancient Runes.
Favourite Subject(s): Defence Against the Dark Arts, Transfiguration, Ancient Runes. She likes quite a lot of subjects because she likes school in general, but she excells at those three, and is rubbish at Herbology and Divination (in which she mostly sleeps).
Preferred House and why: Gryffindor! Because she's brave, lives life on the edge, is out-going, in your face, and hates Slytherins with a passion. Yes she is smart and so would fit in Ravenclaw but her passion for adrenaline often overides her common sense.
SAMPLE ROLEPLAY
Alex strolled along the corridor, the younger students, nearly a head shorter than her. It was odd being so tall; she'd obviously shot up another couple of inches over the summer, but at least most of the guys in her year were a few inches taller than she was. Running her fingers through her hair for what seemed to be the millionth time, in a way that had before made her hair stay over her shoulders, she almost growled in annoyance when it simply bounced back into its poofy and stylish mop. Everyone said that the do suited her but it was bloody annoying.
Carefully Alex negotiated the corridor without running into anyone or smacking someone in the face with either her book bag or broomstick, but it was difficult. Finally she gave up.
"Head Girl coming through- move it pipsqueaks!" Everyone scuttled to the sides of the corridor and Professor Ormley or was standing in the open door of his classroom smiled at her. She smiled back a little guiltily and scurried down the corridor on the way to Quidditch Practice. Well, she didn't like using authority to get her way. She never usually did, but she was late from Duty and needed to make Practice. As she ran down the Entrance Hall steps and out onto the lawns of the school she looked up towards the towering stands of the Quidditch Pitch and smiled. That was one place her authority held no appeal whatsoever. It was her skill and gutts that worked there, and she had buckets of instinct to beat anyone who took on teh Gryffindor team.
After winning the Cup three years in a row the other Houses had been forced to beef up their practice schedules and now the school had four sets of teams who were the best they'd had in years. At least five students from them were considering moving into professional play. The matches were getting interesting with the Snitch meaning little in ways of winning. The Chasers on all sides were too good. The Seekers were needing to be more careful with their timing than their catching. Smiling, Alex picked up the pace and sprinted towards the pitch. She couldn't wait to get up in the air...
